One of the courts has fixed Oct 10 for the hearing on framing charges in five of those cases started under the Special Powers Act. It also issued arrest warrants for those still on the run.
The hearing on framing charges in another case of treason will also be held on that day.
The former prime minister went to the CMM’s Court premises in Old Dhaka on Wednesday morning to appear in proceedings of 12 cases against her, including for sabotage, treason and corruption.
The hearings of the cases took place for over four hours in the courts of four judges.
The first hearing Khaleda attended was at the court of the metropolitan sessions judge, where the treason case is being tried.
