BNP leader Hannan Shah taken to Singapore for treatment

Senior BNP leader ASM Hannan Shah has been taken to Singapore for treatment.

The former minister was admitted to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Dhaka on Sep 6.

An air ambulance carried him to Singapore from the Dhaka airport late on Sunday, said the family.

"He has been admitted to the Raffles Heart Centre," son Shah Rezaul Hannan told bdnews24.com.

The 77-year-old former army brigadier general had been kept on life-support since he was admitted to the CMH.
