Former speaker Barrister Jamiruddin Sircar will be laid to rest within the parliament complex following his Namaz-e-Janaza, or funeral prayer, at the South Plaza of the National Parliament.

The Bangladesh National Parliament Secretariat announced in a press release that the funeral prayer for the veteran politician will be held at the South Plaza of the National Parliament at 5pm on Sunday. After the prayer, he will be laid to rest in a designated area within the parliament grounds.
