The decision has been informed to Tripura Road Transport Corporation (TRTC).
A government official here said the ongoing and unrelenting violence in Bangladesh forced them to suspend the service.
TRTC managing director RM Malakar said Shyamali was operating a bus from Dhaka to Agartala thrice a week after the TRTC suspended its service on the route in January this year for security reasons.
In September 2013, TRTC's Dhaka-bound passenger bus, ‘Maitree’, was burnt by a mob when it met with an accident in the Narsinghdi ahead of Dhaka.
Though the service was resumed after a few months, the TRTC scaled down its service and finally suspended the operation in January for an indefinite period.
The Agartala-Dhaka bus service was started in September 2003. The Tripura government has been demanding a regular bus service between Agartala and Kolkata via Dhaka.
The state government had also sought the intervention of Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit in December last year.
