At least four people have died after a four-storey building collapsed in India's capital Delhi.
Fourteen others have been rescued so far following the incident in Delhi’s Mustafabad area early on Saturday morning, broadcaster NDTV reports.
A local official said that several people may still be trapped under the debris of the collapsed building.
After receiving information about the collapse around 3am local time, teams from the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), Delhi Fire Service, and police rushed to the scene, according to Senior Delhi Police officer Sandeep Lamba.
"Fourteen people have been rescued, and four have died. About 8-10 people are still feared trapped," Lamba told Indian news agency ANI.
The injured have been taken to GTB Hospital for treatment.
Lamba also mentioned that an investigation was underway to determine the cause of the collapse.
The incident followed heavy rain accompanied by strong winds and storms in parts of Delhi on Friday.
Last week, a person died and two others were injured when a wall of an under-construction building collapsed during a severe dust storm in Madhu Vihar.
