A six-day fair showcasing Bangladesh’s diverse jute products, GI goods, Rajshahi silk and handloom crafts has opened at the Jute Diversification Promotion Centre in Dhaka’s Tejgaon. The Jute Products Fair 2026, which began on Oct 3, runs through Thursday, promoting eco-friendly alternatives to polythene and expanding the use of locally made products.
