Durga Puja bells ring

The Durga Puja festivities began with Chandipath, recitation of scripture, and the installation of a Mangal Ghat at altars across the country, including the Dhakeshwari National Temple, accompanied by the sounding of drums and conch shells to invite the Goddess Durga into the mortal realm.
