Pumpkins grown in Arial Beel in Srinagar Upazila of Munshiganj, which dries up during winter, have been brought to Shyambazar Ghat in Old Dhaka for sale. Depending on size and quality, each pumpkin sells for Tk 30 to Tk 400, while traders sell them at wholesale rates or by weight elsewhere.
