Fuel runs dry as Eid rush chokes Dhaka pumps

An acute fuel shortage during the Eid holidays has gripped much of Dhaka, forcing many filling stations to shut while others struggle to cope with overwhelming demand. Across the city, vehicles snake into long, unmoving lines, as drivers wait hours to refuel.
