Sindur Khela ritual at Dhakeswhari Temple

Hindu devotees take part in the Sindur Khela, one of the many rituals that mark Bijoya Dashami – the 10th day of Durga Puja – at Dhakeshwari National Temple on Thursday, Oct 2, 2025. The Dashami celebrations officially began with the Bihita Puja after 9am, followed by the Darpan Bisarjan and the Ghot Bisarjan rituals. The Sindur Khela – where married women play with vermillion – was held in the afternoon.
