Dhaka's sacrificial animal markets typically become crowded three to four days before Eid-ul-Azha. Cattle began arriving from different parts of Bangladesh approximately 10 to 12 days before the festival. Traders have also begun gathering at the Postogola Shmashan Ghaat animal market, where a small number of buyers are already visiting.
