Firewood stove sales surge as gas supply falls

Residents of Dhaka and nearby Narayanganj are increasingly turning to firewood stoves amid a decline in pipeline gas supply and rising LPG prices rise. Artisans report higher demand, with stoves selling for Tk 300 to Tk 800 depending on their size and design.
