Harvesting white mustard fields

Fields of ripening white mustard are now being harvested across Sirajdikhan in Munshiganj, where farmers planted the crop back in November. This year’s yield appears better than the last, filling barns and courtyards with freshly cut plants. Yet amid the promise of a good harvest, farmers remain uneasy, uncertain whether the market will reward their hard work with a fair price.
