It tied up with the KOICA Bangladesh Alumni Association (KBAA), National Institute of Advanced Nursing Education and Research (NIANER) and Directorate General of Nursing and Midwifery (DGNM) for the health awareness event on Sunday.
The health sector is one of KOICA’s core priority areas.
Bangladesh has about 45,000 registered nurses, which is “inadequate” considering the country’s large population.
The main objective of this project is to establish an advanced higher level nursing education centre for developing qualified nurses.
