It is not immediately clear whether Wang is in the custody of the Chinese government

AstraZeneca said on Wednesday the company's China President Leon Wang is currently under investigation and is cooperating with Chinese authorities.
"Our China operations continue under the leadership of the current General Manager of AstraZeneca China," the drugmaker said, without providing further details.
It was not immediately clear whether Wang was in the custody of the Chinese government.
When asked about Wang's whereabouts, a company spokesperson reiterated that the executive was under investigation without commenting further.
