Bangladesh Bank will unveil the monetary policy for the first half of the 2026-27 fiscal year on Tuesday.

Governor Mostaqur Rahman will announce the policy at 3pm, the central bank said in a media statement on Monday.

The monetary policy outlines how much money is expected to circulate in the economy during a given period to support the government's financial plans.

It also sets out measures aimed at controlling inflation, maintaining private sector credit growth and supporting overall economic growth.
