Malinga joins Mumbai Indians

The Mumbai Indians will be bolstered by the return of Sri Lankan fast bowler Lasith Malinga.

Malinga missed the first two games but is likely to be fit for the team's clash against Delhi Daredevils on Tuesday.

The leading wicket-taker in IPL with 83 wickets was ruled out for the opening match in Bangalore due to a sore back, which he had sustained during the limited-overs series against Bangladesh.

Malinga, could not join his team-mates as the second match was in Chennai and the IPL Governing Council had decided against Sri Lankans players being there due to political reasons.
