Bangladesh, who are ranked seventh, had 93 points before the series began. They are followed by West Indies and Pakistan, on eighth and ninth.
England are ranked sixth with 98 points.
The ICC published the calculations of rise or drop in points considering the outcomes ahead of the series.
According to those calculations, winning the series 2-1 raised Bangladesh’s points to 96, two fewer than England.
