PRAN-RFL’s four companies receive top VAT payer’s awards of DITF 2018

Four companies of PRAN-RFL Group have received award for paying highest amounts of VAT at the 23rd Dhaka International Trade Fair or DITF 2018.

Finance Minister AMA Muhith distributed the awards among the top VAT payers of the fair at the National Board of Revenue on Monday, according to a press release from PRAN-RFL Group.

Choudhury Atiur Rasul, Director (Accounts) of PRAN-RFL Group, received the awards on behalf of the four companies.

This year, 10 companies received the top VAT payer’s awards at DITF.

The four companies of PRAN-RFL Group are - RFL Plastics Limited, Durable Plastic Limited, Rangpur Metal Industries Limited and Agricultural Marketing Company Limited.

Mashiur Rahman, Economic Affairs Adviser to the Prime Minister and Mosharraf Hossain Bhuiyan, Chairman of the NBR, were also present at the function.

The release quoted Atiur Rasul as saying, “It is a matter of pride that we received four prizes among ten. PRAN-RFL Group will play stronger role in future to move the country’s economy forward.”
