The authorities have changed the time for CNG filling stations to remain closed during Ramadan to feed more gas to power stations in peak hours.

The refueling stations will remain closed for six hours from 3pm to 9pm, according to a media release issued by state oil and gas corporation Petrobangla on Thursday.
Petrobangla spokesperson Tariqul Islam Khan told bdnews24.com that vigilance teams would be assigned to monitor the filling stations.
After a meeting between ministries and government agencies, distribution agency, Petrobangla, FBCCI and Bangladesh Shop Owners Association on May 3, the government said the CNG filling stations will remain shut from 5pm to 11pm during Ramadan.
