Hamza Choudhury, the Bangladeshi national football team and Leicester City star, has been signed as the brand ambassador for Foodi Express Limited.

The signing ceremony was held at the Renaissance Dhaka Gulshan Hotel on Tuesday.

“Hamza Choudhury, born of Bangladeshi heritage and widely regarded as one of the most inspirational sporting figures in the country today, was chosen for his embodiment of passion, determination, and deep pride in his Bangladeshi roots, values that closely reflect Foodi's own identity as a proudly local brand,” the food delivery company said in a statement.

As brand ambassador, Hamza will participate in a range of promotional and brand-building activities aimed at growing Foodi's presence across Bangladesh.

Commenting on the signing, Hamza said: "I am joining Foodi, the fastest food and grocery delivery app made in Bangladesh. Just as I represent Bangladesh on the football field, I am equally proud to stand beside a homegrown brand in the same way. Truly delighted to be a part of this journey with Foodi."

From Foodi COO Shahnewas Mannan, Director Mohammed Al Wasi and other senior officials were present at the event.

Md Shahnewas Mannan, chief operating officer of Foodi Express Limited, said: "Hamza Choudhury represents something truly special, not just as a footballer, but as a symbol of Bangladeshi pride and perseverance. At Foodi, we believe in the power of local, local talent, local ambition, and local impact. Having Hamza as our Brand Ambassador is a natural fit, as he carries the same values we stand for. We are thrilled to welcome him to the Foodi family and look forward to a partnership that inspires millions."
