Hamza Choudhury, the Bangladeshi national football team and Leicester City star, has been signed as the brand ambassador for Foodi Express Limited.
The signing ceremony was held at the Renaissance Dhaka Gulshan Hotel on Tuesday.
“Hamza Choudhury, born of Bangladeshi heritage and widely regarded as one of the most inspirational sporting figures in the country today, was chosen for his embodiment of passion, determination, and deep pride in his Bangladeshi roots, values that closely reflect Foodi's own identity as a proudly local brand,” the food delivery company said in a statement.
As brand ambassador, Hamza will participate in a range of promotional and brand-building activities aimed at growing Foodi's presence across Bangladesh.
Commenting on the signing, Hamza said: "I am joining Foodi, the fastest food and grocery delivery app made in Bangladesh. Just as I represent Bangladesh on the football field, I am equally proud to stand beside a homegrown brand in the same way. Truly delighted to be a part of this journey with Foodi."
From Foodi COO Shahnewas Mannan, Director Mohammed Al Wasi and other senior officials were present at the event.
