The Bangladesh embassy said it was due to their initiative that Beacon, which specialises in manufacturing cancer drugs, and the KareIlac, a prominent Turkish pharmaceutical producer and distribution company, signed the contract at the embassy in Ankara on Monday.
The Turkish company has agreed to import, distribute and market the anti-cancer, biotech and lifesaving drugs of the Beacon Pharma.
The embassy expects the agreement would contribute to a large extent in enhancing Bangladesh’s pharmaceuticals export volume to Turkey.
Ambassador M Allama Siddiki was present during the signing of the deal.
KocIlac has also been importing some products of the Incepta pharmaceuticals since 2014.
