Bangladesh Ambassador to the US Mohammad Ziauddin has presented his letter of credence to Argentina President Mauricio Macri as the non-resident ambassador.

Macri welcomed the ambassador in his office at the “Casa Rosada- the Pink House in Buenos Aires on Monday.
Chief of Protocol of the host government escorted Ambassador Ziauddin to the Casa Rosada.
During the ceremony, he conveyed the warm greetings of President Abdul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and extended their invitation to him to visit Bangladesh.
Ziauddin said Bangladesh and Argentina enjoy the best of relations, and “it is now time to explore the untapped potentials of our two countries for further development of the peoples.”
He requested President Macri to send delegations to Bangladesh to explore the cooperation opportunities.
The Argentine president said the two countries would continue to work together in strengthening the bilateral relations, and for achieving common goals.
Earlier, the ambassador called on the Argentine Minister of Foreign Affairs Faurie.
