Sexagenarian Railways Minister Mazibul Hoque becomes father of a baby girl

Railways Minister Mazibul Hoque has become the father of a baby girl a year and seven months after his marriage.

His wife Hanufa Akter Rikta gave birth to the baby at Square Hospital in Dhaka on Saturday afternoon.

 

The minister told bdnews24.com that both mother and the baby were in good health.

 

“We haven’t named her yet. We will name her later following religious ritual,” he said.

 

The minister is turning 69 on Tuesday. He wed Rikta in October 2014.
