Justice Md Nuruzzaman issued the order on Tuesday following an appeal by the ACC challenging the order of the High Court bench of Justice Nazmul Ahsan and Justice KM Kamrul Kader on the context of ACC case hearing.
The chamber judge has adjourned all proceedings of the Jahalom case, including the High Court rule until May 13, ACC legal counsel Khurshid Alam Khan told bdnews24.com.
The full bench of the Appellate Division will hear the case on that day.
“There is a special bench in the High Court to settle the ACC related cases. No other bench can settle the cases. There is a verdict of the Appellate Division on the issue. The chamber judge has issued the order considering all these aspects.”
