The ‘Dialogue on Safer Internet or Nirapod Internet’ will start at Radisson BLU Dhaka’s Utshab Banquet Hall at 3:30pm on Saturday, according to a spokesperson for Bangladesh’s largest bilingual news publisher.
The panellists will consist of State Minister for Post and Telecommunications Tarana Halim, State Minister for ICT Zunaid Ahmed Palak, RAB Director General Benazir Ahmed and BTRC Director General Brig Gen Md Emdad ul Bari.
Computer science teacher and researcher Dr Nova Ahmed and UNICEF’s communication, advocacy and partnership chief Shima Islam will also join the session.
More and more users are getting vulnerable to cybercrimes and suffering data breach in evolving cyber social reality.
The threats have put safety in cyber society at the forefront of strategic priorities.
