Police have found the body of a suspect said to be responsible for the murders of a man and his three sons in Mymensingh.

The body of Jamal Hossain, 22, son of Lal Miah of Banshti village, was found beside a pond in the village on Saturday morning, Nandail Police Station OC Syed Abdullah said.
Police also arrested Khokon Miah, 30, for his alleged link with Friday’s murders of Lal Miah’s younger brother Belal Hossain, 50, his sons ‘Farid’, 25, ‘Himel’, 14, and ‘Pavel’, 10.
Belal and Lal Miah have been at loggerheads over possession of tracts of ancestral land for a long time, Abdullah told bdnews24.com.
He said Lal Miah and his people attacked Belal’s house after he and his sons had stopped them from beating their sister ‘Kohila’ for declining to lend Tk 40,000.
