Dhaka, July 4 (BDNEWS) – The health secretaries of South East Asia expressed their satisfaction over the treatment and other facilities at the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases and Hospital (NICVD) after visiting the institute Monday.
The delegation visited coronary care unit, intensive care unit, post CCU and other units of the hospital Monday, the last day of the two day-long meeting of the health secretaries of South East Asia held in the capital.
Earlier NICVD Director Prof Sufia Rahman projected the activities of the institute and informed that the institute also conducts academic activities.
The 250-bed hospital has five operation theatres that have different surgical facilities including heart surgery.
