The embassy will remain closed from Dec 24 to Dec 26 for Christmas and Dec 31 and Jan 1 for the New Year.
The visa services will re-open on Jan 2, says a media release.
The American embassy, including its consular section, library and students’ advising centre will remain closed on Wednesday for Christmas holiday.
However, emergency services for its citizens will be available at the number, 885-5500.
