The results of re-evaluation of this year's Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent exam are set to be published by Aug 10.
Inter-Education Board Examination Regulatory Committee Convenor SM Kamal Uddin Haider told bdnews24.com on Sunday, “Re-examination results must be published within 30 days from the publication of the original results. Accordingly, the deadline falls on Aug 10.
“The admission policy for Class XI also indicates that the results must be published by this date.”
Over 92,000 students of the Dhaka Education Board have applied for re-evaluation of the results, said Kamal Uddin, the board's examination regulator.
He added that he does not have the records of applications from other boards.
The results of this year’s SSC and equivalent exams were published on Jul 10, with 606,600 students failing nationwide.
A total of 1.93 million students registered for the examination under the nine general education boards, as well as the Madrasah and Technical boards.
If any examinee is dissatisfied with the published results, they can apply for re-evaluation.
This time, applications for re-examination of the SSC and equivalent examination results were accepted from Jul 11-17. Students applied through the Teletalk mobile operator by paying a fee of Tk 150 for each paper.
