A female college student has been killed in a road accident in Dhaka, police say.

Rima Akter, 20, was a student of the accounting department at the Eden Mohila College.
Shahbagh police Sub Inspector Sirajul Islam said Rima was pillion riding a friend's motorcycle when it collided with a truck at Kantabon on Thursday night.
She was returning to her Kalabagan residence from a family function in Jatrabarhi.
Doctors at the Dhaka Medical College and Hospital declared her dead on being brought there.
Her friend 'Emon' is in a critical condition, doctors say.
