The festival will be celebrated in 10 other villages in Faridpur’s Boalmari Upazila

Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated in about 50 villages in Chandpur's Hajiganj Upazila on Sunday in line with several Middle East countries, including Saudi Arabia.
Arif Chowdhury, the incumbent Pirzada of Sadra Durbar Sharif, confirmed the matter on Saturday night.
He said, "Not only Saudi Arabia, but we also celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr by observing the fasting and Eid-ul-Fitr depending on the moon sighting in the light of the Quran and Hadith.
“All necessary arrangements have been made to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr."
The Eid congregation will be held at the Durbar Sharif ground at 9am, led by Imam Pirzada Zakaria Chowdhury.
The congregation at Sadra Hamidia Fazil (Degree) Madrasa ground will be held at 9:30am, led by Arif.
Durbar Sharif Pir Baqibillah Mishkat Chowdhury said, “Maulana Ishaq introduced the advance fasting and Eid celebration in 1928.
The Ishaq followers will celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr in several districts including Chandpur on Sunday.
The residents of Hajiganj Upazila’s Sadra, Sameshpur, Alipur, Balakhal, Monihar, Pratappur, and Basara will celebrate the festival on Sunday.
On the same day, Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated in Lakshmipur, Kamta, Gollak, Bhulachon, Sonachon, Ubarampur, Uttali, Munsirhat, Kaitara, Mulpara, Badarpur, Aitpara, Surangchail, Balithuba, Paikpara, Nurpur, Sachanmegh, Sholla, Hansa, and Gobindapur Upazilas of Faridganj, alongside Dashani, Mohanpur, Panchani, Kachua, and Shahrasti Upazilas of Matlab.
The festival will also be celebrated in 10 villages of Faridpur's Boalmari Upazila, said Mahidul Haque, coordinator of Sahasrail Dayera Sharif around 10:45pm on Saturday.
He said, "We took the decision after learning that Eid is going to be celebrated in Saudi Arabia [Sunday]. "
