Awami League-backed Dhaka North mayor aspirant Annisul Huq is hopeful about winning the polls.

He spoke to reporters around 9:30am after casting his vote at the polling station at Banani Bidya Niketon High School and College.
Flanked by his father, siblings, wife and children, Huq said: “I have not heard of anyone creating any obstacles. I am hundred percent hopeful about winning.”
The mayor aspirant’s father and wife also voted at the same polling centre.
92-year-old Shariful Huq told bdnews24.com: “I am hopeful about my son getting elected.”
