Patuakhali chef found hanging in restaurant staff quarters

Colleagues have alerted police after spotting the body of the 20-year-old

Police have recovered the hanging body of a chef from the residential quarters of a restaurant in Patuakhali.

The deceased has been identified as Md Sayem, 20, a resident of Bhandaria in Pirojpur district.

On Sunday around 10am, police recovered his body from a staff accommodation room at Poura Park Restaurant in Patuakhali town, said Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle) Kishore Roy.

Sayem used to live in the staff residential room of the restaurant.

Colleagues spotted his body hanging in the room and alerted police.
