Chief Advisor Yunus sends condolences as Air Force plane crashes into Dhaka school

“This is a moment of deep sorrow for the nation,” he says

Chief Advisor Muhammad Yunus has expressed deep shock and sorrow after a Bangladesh Air Force F-7 BGI training plane crashed into the Milestone School and College campus in the Dhaka's Diabari area.

A statement issued by the Chief Advisor’s Office on Monday said, "The losses suffered by the Air Force and the students, parents, teachers and staff at Milestone School and College are irreplaceable. This is a moment of deep sorrow for the nation."

In his message, the chief advisor wished the injured a speedy recovery and directed all authorities, including the hospitals concerned, to handle the situation with utmost importance.

"The government will take the necessary measures to investigate the cause of the accident and ensure all kinds of assistance," he said.
