Dhaka, March 18 (BDNEWS)- The Citizens Rights Movement (CRM) staged a human chain in front of the Fine Arts Institute of Dhaka University on Saturday to drum up their six-point demands.
The demands of the CRM include setting up of mills and factories in safe and hygienic environment, removal of risky structures from across the country including the capital, and safe road network.
Former secretary, chairman of BTRC and chief adviser of the CRM Syed Magrub Morshed presided over the rally held at the venue of human chain, said a press release.
The CRM placed a six-point charter of demands from the rally. A procession was also brought out demanding an overbridge at the Bangla Motor intersection after the name of journalist Yusuf Pasha who died at a tragic road accident at Bangla Motor on March 17.
