He told the media on Sunday that the time for college admission without late fine has been extended by 21 days.

According to the minister, online admission is a ‘huge’ task.

He blamed ‘technical problems and limitations’ for the complications in online college admission.

“I am sorry. Please consider the matter with a forgiving heart,” he said.

“There might be small mistakes when we do something big. But we don’t want this to happen again,” Nahid said.

“There lies the problem of development...agony of development,” he added.

He also assured the students and the guardians that such problems would not occur in the future.

During the last few years, college admissions have been based on Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination results.

The students had to apply online for the first time this year.

The list for college admission was published on June 28 midnight, three days after the schedule due to technical problems.

The admission seekers are facing problems for errors in the list. Many colleges suffered for the delay while admitting the students.
