Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) have found 100,000 methamphetamine-based Yaba tablets during a raid at Cox’s Bazar’s Teknaf Upazila.

BGB led the raid on Saturday midnight near sluice gate 3 along the Naf River after a tip-off about a large consignment of Yaba pills arriving from Myanmar, said Teknaf-based BGB Battalion’s deputy chief Abu Rasel Siddiqui
“Two smugglers left a bag while trying to flee. Later the border guards found 100,000 Yaba tablets inside the bag,” he said.
Rasel said estimated street value of the contraband drug is Tk 30 million.
