Patuakhali, Jan 28 (bdnews24.com) – AKM Mohiuddin, one of the five convicted for the murder of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, was buried Thursday at his village home.
The namaj-e-janaza of another convict, Mohiuddin Ahmed, whose home district is also in Patuakhali was held and is expected be buried in his family graveyard.
Both the former army officers hailed from the same sub-district—Galachipa.
The ambulance carrying AKM Mohiuddin's body reached Neta village at Rangabali union at around 2:30pm and the coffin was received by his cousin Shahidul Islam Talukder.
He was buried at around 3.00pm after his janaza.
Mohiuddin's coffin reached Moudubi village at Borobaishdia union at around the same time and his uncle Abul Hossain received the body.
Three other convicts, Sultan Shahriar Rashid Khan, Syed Faruk Rahman and Bazlul Huda were buried at their village homes Thursday morning.
