Govt appoints new deputy commissioners in 25 districts

The interim government has appointed new deputy commissioners in 25 districts.

The Ministry of Public Administration has issued a notice on their appointment on Monday.

New deputy commissioners have been appointed to the Dhaka, Faridpur, Sylhet, Habiganj, Mymensingh, Sherpur, Kushtia, Jenaidah, Magura, Rangpur, Gaibandha, Naogaon, Natore, Pabna, Bogura, Joypurhat, Cox's Bazar, Chattogram, Noakhali, Chandpur, Gazipur, Cumilla, Moulvibazar, Khulna and Gopalganj districts.

Earlier on Aug 20, the government withdrew 25 deputy commissioners as the first step of its changes and reforms in the administration. The new appointments were made 20 days after the previous ones were withdrawn.
