Prime Minister Tarique visits Abbas’s bedside at Evercare Hospital

He arrived at the hospital in the afternoon, his assistant press secretary says

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has visited his Political Advisor Mirza Abbas at Evercare Hospital, where he has been receiving treatment since falling unconscious on Wednesday night.

Tarique arrived at the hospital at 2:20pm on Friday to check on his health and medical progress, confirmed his Assistant Press Secretary Atiqur Rahman Rumon.

During the visit, the prime minister spent time at the bedside of the veteran leader and consulted with the attending physicians regarding his current condition.

"The prime minister instructed the hospital authorities to take immediate measures to ensure he receives the best possible treatment," Rumon said.
