Government reshuffle brings new DCs to Chattogram, three districts

Ministry reverses decision on Naogaon deputy commissioner’s transfer to Chattogram

The interim government has appointed new district administrators for Chattogram, Chapainawabganj, Feni and Madaripur.

The Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification on the matter on Wednesday.

The same notification cancelled the Sept 21 order that had transferred Naogaon DC Mohammad Abdul Awal to Chattogram.

In the latest reshuffle, Saiful Islam, DC of Feni, has been reassigned as Chattogram’s DC, while Monira Haque, deputy secretary of the Secondary and Higher Education Division, has taken charge of Feni district.

Mohammad Solaiman, deputy secretary of the Power Division, has been appointed DC of Chapainawabganj, and Afsana Bilkis, deputy secretary of the Financial Institutions Division, has been assigned to Madaripur.
