Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has visited the Museum of the Communist Party of China in the Chinese capital, catching a glimpse of the political journey and evolution of the ruling organisation.
The premier arrived at the venue on Friday morning following an official meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping at the Great Hall of the People.
On arrival, Tarique and his wife Zubaida Rahman were received by the museum curator before being guided through interactive exhibits.
They toured the museum, where officials presented the history and development of the party, Prime Minister's Additional Press Secretary Atikur Rahman Ruman said.
The premier also experienced an immersive audio-visual coaster presentation that brought major historical milestones to life.
Following the tour, Tarique signed the visitors' book before heading to the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse around 12:40pm local time.
The massive 150,000-square-metre landmark building in Beijing's Chaoyang District houses over 4,500 historical artifacts and chronicled exhibits detailing China's revolutionary past and modern economic rise.
Members of the accompanying Bangladesh delegation were present during the visit.
