The Chief Advisor’s Office announced that

Leaders from the BNP, Jamaat-e-Islami, and National Citizen Party (NCP) delivered the message at a meeting led by interim government head Muhammad Yunus at the State Guest House Jamuna on Saturday, according to the Chief Advisor's Office.

The parties also announced plans to hold protest programme in response to the heinous attack on Hadi.

The event is scheduled to take place within the next one or two days.

The BNP, Jamaat, and NCP leaders also stressed that was necessary to increase communication among political parties to prevent any crack in the anti-fascist political unity. They said the parties will take a strong stance on this matter.

They emphasised the need for a strict campaign to seize illegal weapons before the election.

The BNP delegation included Standing Committee member Salahuddin Ahmed and retired Army major Hafiz Uddin Ahmed.

Jamaat was represented by its Secretary General Mia Golam Porwar and Assistant Secretary General Ehsanul Mahbub Zubair, while the NCP delegation included its Convener Nahid Islam and Chief Organiser for the Southern Region Hasnat Abdullah.
