In the overhaul on Thursday, four additional secretaries and 10 joint secretaries have been transferred, a Ministry of Public Administration order said.
One deputy commissioner has also been shifted.
The government wings where changes have been effected include the Department of Narcotics Control (DNC) and the National Institute of Population Research and Training (NIPRT).
DNC director general Mohammad Iqbal has been moved to the NIPRT.
Additional Secretary to the Ministry of Education Atowar Rahman has been was made the DNC director general.
Additional Secretary to the Ministry of Environment and Forests Aparup Chowdhury has become project director in the same ministry, while Additional Secretary Mostafa Kamal Uddin has been shifted to the ICT Department as director general.
In a separate order, OSD Joint Secretary Md Amir Hossain and Bangladesh Shishu Academy Director Md Nuruzzaman have been appointed directors of Bangladesh Television.
Joint Secretary to the Health Ministry Md Zakir Hossain has become project director in the Ministry of Disaster Management, while secretary of the Bangladesh Power Development Board Secretary has been made a board member.
OSD Joint Secretary ABM Ruhul Azad was been made the director of Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Institution and OSD Joint Secretary Nando Dulal Bonik has been moved to the Bangladesh Shipping Corporation as its executive director.
Diara Settlement Official Md Golam Rabbani has been transferred to the ICT department as its director general, while OSD Joint Secretary Md Emdadul Hque has been made a director of the Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority.
Dhaka Power Distribution Company Secretary Moron Kumar Chakroborty has been promoted to executive director, and OSD Joint Secretary Md Ali Nur was made exam controller of the Bangladesh Public Service Commission.
Narail Deputy Commissioner Md Zohurul Haque has been made secretary to the PDB.
Nobody has been appointed deputy commissioner yet.
