Two units of the fire service are attempting to douse the fire

A residential building in the capital’s South Banasree has caught on fire.
Upon receiving the news around 7:00pm on Sunday, two units of the Fire Service rushed to the scene to try and extinguish the flames.
Rafi al Faruk, duty officer of the Fire Service Control Room, said: “The fire broke out at a three-storey building on Road 7, Block H, in South Banasree.”
He was unable to confirm what caused the fire, or the extent of the damage it caused.
