Renaissance Dhaka Gulshan Hotel has welcomed the joyous spirit of Christmas with a vibrant Christmas cake mixing and tree lighting ceremony at GBC, Lobby Level.

The celebration brought together media representatives, influencers, valued guests, and associates for an afternoon filled with festive cheer on Saturday.

The hotel’s General Manager Md Al Amin, alongside all heads of departments and associates, joined hands to uphold the timeless tradition of cake mixing -- symbolising togetherness, celebration, and the anticipation of a delightful festive season ahead, Renaissance Dhaka said in a statement.

“A rich assortment of fruit syrups, dry fruits, candied peels, nuts, and aromatic spices was mixed as part of the ceremony, marking the beginning of the hotel’s Christmas culinary festivities,” it said.

“The centrepiece of the occasion, the grand Christmas Tree Lighting, illuminated the GBC Lobby with warmth and joy, officially ushering in the holiday season.”

Guests, media partners, influencers, and associates were also treated to a special high tea.

Media outlets including Channel i, Maasranga TV, Ekattor TV, Channel 9, Independent TV, SA TV, DBC News, Dhaka FM, Prothom Alo, The Bangladesh Monitor, The Current View, The Daily Sun, The Business Standard, Ice Today, Canvas, The Fame Magazine, The Daily Ittefaq, and bdnews24.com among others covered the event.

Popular influencers also joined the celebration, with special guest Jannatul Ferdous Peya, a celebrity model, actor, and lawyer, alongside social media influencers like Bite Bliss, Nish Going Places, and Khabentaki.
