CEC meets acting speaker to discuss schedule for presidential election

The meeting brings together election commissioners and senior parliamentary officials

Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) AMM Nasir Uddin has begun talks with Acting Speaker Kayser Kamal on the presidential election.

The meeting began at 11am on Tuesday at the acting speaker's office in Parliament.

Election commissioners Abdur Rahmanel Masud, Anwarul Islam and Tahmida Ahmed, along with the Election Commission (EC) secretary and the parliament Secretariat secretary, are also attending.

EC Secretary Akhtar Ahmed said, "The meeting will discuss the presidential election."
