Dhaka, Feb 17 (BDNEWS) – Dhaka city mayor sat on right of former Home Minister Mohammad Nasim and Mosaddek Ali Falu on left.
The politicians belonging to different parties and clubs raised their hands together seeking divine blessing for Monem Munna who died on February 12.
Abahani Limited arranged a memorial meeting and milad mahfil for Munna, one of the finest footballers the country has ever produced, at the club premises in capital's Dhanmondi Thursday.
Several thousand fans of Munna joined the meeting to show respect to their beloved footballer. It was also attended by politicians, sports organisers and current and retired players.
Former BCB president Saber Hossain Chowdhury, Abahani director Anjan Chowdhury Pintu, Bangladesh Football Federation general secretary Anwarul Haque Helal, Munna's teammate and former national footballer Kaiser Hamid were present in the program.
