Bangladesh’s Abdullah Hel Baki wins silver at Gold Coast Commonwealth Games

Abdullah Hel Baki has won Bangladesh its first medal at the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games 2018 by taking silver in the 10m Air Rifle final.

Baki scored 244.7 on Sunday at the Belmont Shooting Centre in Australia on Sunday.

Australian favourite Dane Simpson took gold after setting a new Commonwealth Games record of 245.0, while India’s Ravi Kumar took the bronze.

Baki had placed sixth in the qualifying round to earn a spot in the final.
